Our vision at Barton Graded School is to create a joyful and caring school where every child is excited to learn, grow, and explore. We provide a strong foundation in academics, while helping students build confidence, curiosity, and positive social and emotional skills. In partnership with families and our community, we nurture values like kindness, respect, and responsibility, preparing each child to succeed and thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world.

It is the mission of Barton Graded School to create an atmosphere conducive to excellence in learning as well as social and emotional development. We believe that every child is capable, competent, curious, and creative, and we place our students at the center of all we do. We are committed to providing all students and staff with the right to a physically and emotionally safe, civil, and caring learning environment, where the code of conduct is clear and consistent.
